Capitalism is American. Big Government is treason

True Honor - Quote by Friedrich von Schiller

"Our own heart, and not others' opinions of us, forms our true honor."

Friedrich von Schiller

(I would just add, that I only disagree in that God is the one true "other" that counts as well, but I think he means that others opinions really don't count for squat, in the end. That, I would agree with.)

Quote on Leisure from Harriet Martineau

"Leisure, some degree of it, is necessary to the health of every man's spirit."

Harriet Martineau

Luke, in the Book of Acts on Paul the Apostle

"And Paul went in, as was his custom, and for three weeks he argued with them
from the scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ
to suffer and to rise from the dead....So he argued in the synagogue with the
Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who
chanced to be there....And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke
boldly, arguing and pleading about the kingdom of God....And he expounded the
matter to them from morning till evening, testifying to the kingdom of God and
trying to convince them about Jesus both from the law of Moses and from the
prophets. And some were convinced from what he said, while others disbelieved.

Acts 17:2-3,17, 19:8, 28:23-4

Confession of a Former Agnostic - Quote from Mangum Murdock

"A decade ago I would have considered myself an agnostic but in the last 10 years
I have argued with the atheists in these groups and have read, studied, outlined
and transcribed numerous books primarily physics, cosmology, religious,
consciousness, logic, history, philosophy and continue to do so. The most
convincing evidence of God, for me, comes strangely enough from science."

Mangum is a person I met online, that likes to debate atheists and humanists, etc. He has some great insights, cares about right and wrong, and is passionate about what he believes and thinks.

Thomas Aquinas Quote from Summa Contra Gentiles

"Now such a wondrous conversion of the world to the Christian faith is a most
indubitable proof that such signs did take place....For it would be the most
wondrous sign of all if without any wondrous signs the world were persuaded by
simple and lowly men to believe things so arduous, to accomplish things so
difficult, and to hope for things so sublime".

Thomas Aquinas
